Top Farm Batter
In his debut game with the Dodgers organization, David Dahl had a big performance in Triple-A. Going to the plate five times, Dahl walked away with two doubles, a walk and an RBI. His first hit of the game drove in the run on a two-bagger to the opposite field.
The outfielder had a promising stretch of three seasons with the Rockies to open his career. He homered 31 times from 2018-2019 before struggling immensely in the pandemic shortened 2020 season. He was then cut by Colorado and played games in the Rangers and Brewers systems in 2021. Dahl was with the Padres this year, appearing in four MLB games, before they released him earlier in the month. The Dodgers have very solid veteran outfield depth in Triple-A now in the form of Dahl and Kole Calhoun.
Top Farm Pitcher
Payton Martin is having a fantastic first year as a pro. After being drafted in the 17th round last season, he was sent straight to Single-A to begin 2023 and is proving that was a great decision. Martin tossed three shutout innings last night, only allowing one hit and striking out six.
Now 11 games into his pro career, Martin has posted a great 1.82 ERA with 10.62 strikeouts per nine innings. He has been a ground ball machine, forcing them at a rate over 50%, leading to the fact that he has only allowed one homer in the entire season. Martin has a good repertoire and is looking like a Day Three draft steal for the Dodgers.

Justin Wrobleski continued his streak of great outings with another fantastic start. Although he allowed his first run of June, Wrobleski made the longest start of his pro career by going six full innings. He got the win for the third straight start, and he has gone at least five innings in six of his last seven appearances.
Single-A Rancho Cucamonga Quakes
Rancho Cucamonga beat Lake Elsinore 3-1.
Josue De Paula picked up an RBI double in the first inning. After a cold start with the Quakes, the teenage phenom is batting .310 with a 1.032 OPS over the last week. Dayton Dooney drove in the other two runs on a fourth-inning single.
